Armchairs or side chairs?

Wooden armchairs (NICO, OSLER, PAP, PULUS, ROSSA, WEST) keep guests seated longer and suit dinner service, hotel restaurants and lounge corners. The 23 armless side chairs, such as CLASS, LORA and PETRA, take less space, keep aisles clear and suit high-turnover cafes, bistros and breakfast rooms.

If you choose armchairs, check that the arms slide under the table top; otherwise the chairs cannot be pushed in and the service aisle narrows. Many restaurants mix the two, with armchairs at the table ends and side chairs along the sides.

Fabric, colour and wood tone

Every wooden model can be ordered in the fabric, colour and wood tone you specify. Think about cleaning when you choose the fabric: busy dining rooms benefit from darker, easy-care fabrics, while light shades suit breakfast and patisserie concepts. Choosing the wood tone together with the table tops and flooring keeps the room consistent.

Restaurants, hotels and private dining

In hotel restaurants the chairs should follow the design language of the lobby and rooms, so fabric and wood tone are usually set with the interior designer. All our wooden models are specified for restaurant, hotel and banquet use, so one model can serve both the main restaurant and a private dining room.

Plan chairs together with tables

Our CM series cafe tables come with 80×80, 90×90 and 100×100 cm tops at 76 cm height. With one guest per side, an 80×80 cm table seats four on side chairs; with armchairs, a larger top gives more elbow room. Chairs and tables can be combined in a single quote.

Work out quantities from the floor plan: a cafe with twenty 80×80 cm tables at four seats each needs 80 chairs. If you mix armchairs and side chairs, list the two quantities separately in the quote request.
