From guest count to number of tables

Divide the guest count by the seats per table and round up. For 400 guests you need 40 tables at Ø180 cm, or 45–50 at Ø160 cm. Ten guests at a Ø180 cm table get about 57 cm of edge each; eight at a Ø160 cm table get about 63 cm, so the smaller table is more generous per guest at the cost of more tables.

The chart leaves out the couple’s table, family tables and spares; add those separately.

Head table and venue layout

For the couple’s head table, MS 03 half-round tables can be set with the straight edge against the stage or wall, so everyone seated faces the room. For a longer, curved head table, MS 05 segment tables are placed side by side.

Mark the stage, dance floor, service routes and head table on the plan first; the final table count follows once those areas are taken out. MS 02 square tables suit the cake, gift or guest-book corner.

Cocktail tables for the welcome and ceremony area

Guests usually stand for the welcome drink and before the ceremony. For that area the KM 01 bistro table has a 304-grade stainless steel column and a Ø60–80 cm top, at 110 cm bar height or 76 cm. The KM 02K comes in the same sizes with a specially designed folding head.

Tables, chairs and handling

Venues usually buy tables and chairs together: once the table count is fixed, the chair count follows from seats per table, and both go on one quote. Where the hall is turned around between events, folded and stacked MS 01 tables go to storage on the MTA 01 round table trolley.
