Round Banquet Tables

5 ft and 6 ft round tables in centimetres

Banquet round tables are often specified in feet. A 5 ft table is about Ø152 cm and a 6 ft table about Ø183 cm, so the nearest sizes in our range are Ø160 cm and Ø180 cm. Our Ø120 cm is close to a 4 ft (Ø122 cm) table.

In practice Ø160 cm does the job of a 5 ft round, seating 8 comfortably, and Ø180 cm is the 10-seat table most wedding venues plan around. If your floor plan was drawn in feet, recheck aisle widths with the metric diameters before you order.

Half-round, quarter-round and segment tables

The MS series also includes three partial shapes: MS 03 half-round tables in Ø140–200 cm, MS 04 quarter-round tables in Ø160–200 cm, and MS 05 segment tables cut as 1/5 or 1/6 of a Ø300 or Ø360 cm circle. Two half-rounds pushed together make a full round table of the same diameter.

Five 1/5 segments or six 1/6 segments complete the full circle; fewer segments give curves and serpentine runs. As a worked example, two Ø180 cm half-rounds placed against the long sides of a 90×180 cm rectangular table form an oval of roughly 180×270 cm.

Construction, folding and handling

Tops are 18 mm melamine-faced MDF with a T-moulded edge. The 28×1.2 mm tubular legs have a special powder-coat finish and a folding mechanism, and folded tables stack on top of each other.

Large rounds are awkward to carry by hand. The MTA 01 round table trolley has a 30×30×2 mm steel profile frame, a carpet-covered MDF deck and four castors, two swivel and two fixed.
