Standard, illuminated or conical?

The KRS 01 standard lectern is a plain, everyday model for meeting and seminar rooms. The KRS 03 conical lectern has a more distinctive silhouette on stage, which makes it a good fit for conference openings, press events and anything that will be photographed.

The KRS 02 illuminated lectern comes with a lighting accessory. It keeps the lectern visible when the house lights go down for galas, award ceremonies and presentations. You can check where the light sits in the product photos and confirm the details in the quote.

Matching the lectern to the room

For small meeting and training rooms, KRS 01 is enough. On a ballroom or congress stage, the conical form of KRS 03 or the lighting of KRS 02 helps the back rows pick out the speaker.

In large rooms, placing the lectern on a stage riser also improves sightlines. Two 100x200 cm ÇAP 01 modules at 20 or 40 cm make a 2×2 m speaker’s platform, a podium in the British sense. If you are fitting out several rooms, tell us how each is used and we will suggest a model for each.

Where to place the lectern

For presentations, set the lectern beside the screen at the front left or right corner as the audience sees it. The speaker then does not block the slides, and the room can follow both at once. For panel sessions, keep the lectern at one end of the stage with the panel table in the centre.

Material, dimensions and quotes

Every KRS lectern is made from 18 mm melamine-faced MDF, the same board used for the tops of our banquet tables, so the lectern matches the tables in the room.

Dimensions are not listed on the product pages; we confirm the height and top size for each model in writing with the quote. Price depends on model, quantity and whether you choose the illuminated version.
